Shiva idols serve two different homes: the worship home and the design home. For the mandir, our handcrafted brass and antique-ivory Mahadev forms suit daily pooja; for living spaces, the meditating Shiva and the sculptural Shiva bust read as centrepieces of stillness. Nandi, his devoted bull, traditionally sits facing Shiva — our 3-inch brass Sitting Nandi completes the pairing.

Which Shiva idol is right for home?
For daily worship, a brass Mahadev form in the mandir; for living spaces, the meditating Shiva or a sculptural bust as a centrepiece of calm. Both are handcrafted — the difference is placement, not sanctity.
Where should Nandi be placed?
Facing Shiva — traditionally Nandi gazes toward his lord, so place the Nandi murti opposite or angled toward the Shiva idol, never turned away.
When do people gift Shiva idols?
Mahashivratri (February–March) is the peak, along with Shravan month. For devotees who keep Monday fasts, a Shiva murti is a meaningful gift any time of year.
