Kuber is the treasurer of the gods in Hindu tradition — not as widely worshipped alone as Lakshmi or Ganesha, but paired with them on Diwali night in the Kuber-Lakshmi puja that many trading and business families still keep. He's associated with the north direction, so if you're following vastu, that's where this idol is usually placed rather than the southeast corner reserved for Ganesha.
This one is cast in cultured marble with an ivory-toned finish rather than the polished brass more common for Kuber murtis — it reads softer and pairs well with a marble or white-toned altar setup instead of a brass one. It suits business openings, new offices, and Diwali gifting more than daily home worship, since Kuber isn't typically part of a regular puja routine the way Ganesha or Lakshmi are.
