Description
Nandi is Shiva's vehicle and devotee, and in a temple he's always positioned facing the Shiva lingam — which is why, if you already keep a Shiva idol or lingam at home, this Nandi is traditionally placed facing it rather than set apart on its own.
At 3 inches, this sitting Nandi is sized to sit at the base of, or beside, a home Shiva altar rather than as a standalone centerpiece. Solid brass with a polished finish; the detailing shows in the folds around his neck and the calm, watchful set of his head.
Works well paired with an existing Shiva or lingam setup, or as a small gift for someone building out a home temple.
