Meaning and tradition

How to place and worship Charan Paduka at home
Charan Paduka symbolises divine presence, devotion and respect. In devotional tradition, worshipping the sacred feet with faith is associated with prayers for peace, prosperity and divine blessings. Included within this temple, it creates a meaningful focus for daily prayer and quiet reflection.
- Placement: Set the open temple on a clean, stable, elevated surface in your home mandir or pooja area, with the deity panel and Charan Paduka clearly visible. Keep the included Paduka in its intended position within the box.
- Daily worship: Begin with clean hands and a moment of gratitude. Offer prayers or chant a mantra appropriate to your chosen deity, following your family or spiritual tradition.
- Offerings: Place fresh flowers or offerings in a separate dish beside the temple. Keep water, oils, sandal paste and other wet offerings off the decorative surfaces and lining.
- Diya and incense: Use a separate, heat-resistant holder at a safe distance from the box and its lining. Never leave a flame unattended.
- Care: Remove spent flowers regularly and gently dust the Paduka with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking or abrasive cleaning.
