Description
The camel is Rajasthan's animal — the ship of the desert that made its caravan trade possible — and Rajasthani artisans have been carving and painting it for generations as a token of patience and endurance. This one wears a hand-painted golden finish over carved wood, with traditional motifs traced along the saddle and flank.
It's a shelf piece with a point of view: pair it with our black Rajasthani camel or the red mosaic-saddle camel for a caravan arrangement on a console table, or gift it to someone grinding through a long project — the symbolism lands. Because each is painted by hand, the motifs on yours will differ slightly from the photo; that's the proof it isn't printed.
